Discord Bot Privacy Policy

1. Data the bot processes

• Discord user, server, channel, thread, role, command, interaction, and message IDs;
• Discord usernames, display names, avatars, and role membership;
• Linked Minecraft usernames and UUIDs, country/region, tiers, scores, and history;
• Testing queues, ticket state, staff permissions, and audit information;
• Moderation records such as restrictions, reasons, link strikes, and outcomes;
• Message content temporarily inspected by the unauthorized-link safety filter.

2. How data is used

Data is used only to operate account linking, rankings, tier testing, queues, tickets, role synchronization, staff authorization, moderation, security, and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

3. Message content

The bot receives new-message content where Discord permissions and enabled gateway intents allow it, for link-safety enforcement. It does not maintain a general archive of chat messages. The filter may retain the member ID, channel ID, timestamp, strike count, and moderation result needed to enforce escalating penalties.

4. Storage, sharing, and retention

Bot records are stored in Baltic Tiers' self-managed database and VPS. Public ranking or punishment information is posted only where the feature requires it. Discord receives data sent through its platform; its processing is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy. We do not share API data for marketing. Active ticket, queue, and thread references are retained while needed; ranking history, audit, and moderation records may be retained for service integrity, disputes, security, and abuse prevention.

5. Data deletion and correction

You may request access, correction, unlinking, or deletion of bot-associated personal data. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal obligations, or resolving abuse and disputes. Contact a Baltic Tiers Owner or Administrator through the Discord server. We aim to respond within one month where GDPR applies.

6. Security and changes

We use reasonable access controls and secret management, but no online service can promise absolute security. Material policy changes will be posted here and may be announced in the Discord server.
