Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By using baltictiers.xyz (“the Site”), joining the Baltic Tiers Discord server, or requesting a tier test (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are under 13, do not use the Service; Discord itself requires users to be at least 13 years old, and our Discord-based testing process inherits that requirement.

2. What the Service Is

Baltic Tiers tests players’ skill in various Minecraft PvP gamemodes and publishes the resulting tiers, rankings, and points publicly on the Site. Tests are conducted by volunteer testers ranked Junior Tester through Head Tester, each authorized for specific gamemodes. Tier results, rankings, and points are the opinion of the testing staff based on observed performance during a test — they are not a guaranteed or objective measurement of skill, and they may be revised, corrected, or revoked at our discretion.

3. Public Ranking Data

The core purpose of the Service is to publish rankings. By requesting a test or otherwise participating, you understand and agree that the following becomes publicly visible on the Site and may be shared by us elsewhere (e.g. Discord, social media):

• Your Minecraft username
• Your assigned tiers per gamemode and their history
• Your points, country/region association, and ranking position
• Test results and dates

If you want a profile or result removed, contact a Baltic Tiers Owner or Administrator through our Discord server (see Section 9).

4. Discord Integration

We operate a Discord bot that manages account linking, testing queues and threads, tier results, tickets, role synchronization, rankings, and moderation safeguards. Commands may create or delete channels and threads, assign or remove roles, publish test or punishment records, and update linked ranking data when authorized. Use of our Discord server and bot is also subject to Discord’s own Terms of Service and policies, which we do not control.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false information, impersonate another player, or test under someone else’s account/identity;
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or unfairly influence test outcomes or rankings;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse testers, staff, or other players;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, bot, or backend systems;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in removal of your profile, a ban from testing, and/or removal from our Discord server.

6. Testers and Staff

Testers act as volunteers on behalf of Baltic Tiers when conducting official tests. Their tier decisions are final unless overturned by a Head Tester or Owner/Administrator through our internal review process. Being a tester does not create an employment, agency, or contractual relationship beyond these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” free of charge, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Site or Discord bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baltic Tiers, its owners, administrators, and testers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including reputational effects of a published tier or ranking.

9. Contact

These Terms are administered by the Baltic Tiers team. For questions, disputes, or removal requests, contact a Baltic Tiers Owner or Administrator via our Discord server.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be announced in our Discord server.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence within the EU.
